My buying experience was far more satisfying than any of the visits to new car dealers in the past. There was no hard sell, and the sales manager, David Peek, was a pleasure to deal with. We got a great deal on a used car; the neighbors were astounded to hear it wasn't new. The car was detailed, with new tires and full tank of gas. I would happily buy another car from this business.
We had been looking all over the area for a Mazda Miata, and after much research and a couple of visits to indifferent new Mazda dealers, we finally found Battenkill Motors and David Peek immediately greeted us and showed us the only one they had on the lot. What a pleasure! There was no pressure but full attention to us and our purchase. David gave us a good offer, and the promise to put on new tires and detailing, and have it ready the following week. It was ready: the Miata looks spectacular. Frankly, it's better than new. We've bought many cars over the years and undoubtedly, this was the most pleasant car-buying experience I've ever had.
